Experienced General Dentist with Advanced Training in Prosthodontics and Dental Implants
Dr. Vamsi is a knowledgeable and compassionate general dentist with over 15 years of experience in clinical dentistry, academic teaching, and prosthodontic care. Originally trained in India, he holds both a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics.
Before moving to Canada, Dr. Vamsi worked as a dental school faculty member and contributed to several academic publications in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. After obtaining his Canadian dental license, he practiced in Manitoba and rural Alberta before joining the Delta Dental team in Red Deer.
Today, Dr. Vamsi provides comprehensive dental services for individuals and families, including tooth-colored fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, veneers, surgical extractions, and preventive care. He is certified in both oral and nitrous oxide sedation, making him a great choice for patients with dental anxiety or those needing more complex procedures.
Dr. Vamsi has completed advanced training in dental implant surgery and now offers long-lasting solutions for missing teeth using single and multiple implant options. He also has experience treating children and is passionate about providing gentle, effective pediatric dental care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Vamsi is a member of the Alberta Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and is registered with the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys family road trips through the Canadian Rockies and spending quality time with his wife and son.
